Migrating Firefox 52.9.0 Profile
I'm using Firefox 52.9.0 running on Windows XP, which is no longer supported. I'm finally coming out of the dark ages and I'm buying a new computer running Windows 10. I'll be installing the latest release of Firefox and am unsure if there are compatibility issues to consider. Can I just use backup and restore to migrate the existing profile to the new computer? Thanks for any advice ...

I would suggest copying the important files from your Windows XP Profile to your Windows 10 machine (Recovering important data from an old profile). Than, install Firefox 64 on the new Windows 10 computer, open it, than close it. Then, copy those important files from your backup to the new profile, then open Firefox again. It should migrate any old files to the new style

Thanks, Tyler. I'll give it a try when I set up the new computer and will post back with results ...
Worked like a charm. Thanks again!
