How do I open 2 mailboxes at the same time like the old Eudora?

In Eudora on a Mac, I could open everything in a separate window, including the list of mailboxes, the mailboxes, the email, and the reply. I see that the email and reply open in separate windows, but I have not been able to find a way to open two mailboxes at the same time. Is this possible?

If you right-click an account in the Folder Pane, Open in New Window (or Tab), does that work?
