Embedded images sent from Office 365 wont show in Thunderbird.

Embedded images sent from Office 365 wont show in Thunderbird. The placeholder shows only with cid:Imagexxxx. However if the message is already downloaded by another email application, it will show when you open thunderbird.

I have done the following already; - View > Message Body As > Original HTML. - View -> and select Display Attachments Inline - Tools>>Options>>Advanced>>Network & Disk Space>>Settings and check no proxy.

I was reading along here and then got to " if the message is already downloaded by another email application, it will show when you open thunderbird. " now I am just foundering.

Downloading an email from the server is not supposed to affect the server copy of the email, but here you are seeing just that.

Exactly what other mail programs have you used and is the download POP or IMAP?

Thanks Matt, Please ignore that. The email downloading part is incorrect. However when I send the similar mail from microsoft outlook 2010 or another thunderbird, the images appear as expected on Thunderbird
