Unable to view movies on Crackle
On the same workstation Mac running Yosemite I cannot view https://www.crackle.com/ I get the message "initialization failed" but if i use Safari I can view the website.
I have disabled my add ons with the same results. Any ideas?

Maybe your Firewall A/V Program, which is ? As several have some issues with Firefox.

In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:
- all extensions are disabled (about:addons)
- default theme is used (no persona)
- userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored (chrome folder)
- default toolbar layout is used (file: localstore-safe.rdf)
- Javascript JIT compilers are disabled (prefs: javascript.options.*jit)
- hardware acceleration is disabled (Options > Advanced > General)
- plugins are not affected
- preferences are not affected
TEST.....................report back in detail please, yes this disables better.......
The problem is Firefox built in tracking. When I turned Tracking off it started working. However crackle was not stable with either Safari of Firefox.
This would mean the site is the one deciding this not either of the Browser. So you need to contact the site and ask about this problem.

As you discovered, Tracking Protection can block certain content in pages, uses a list of tracking servers. More info: What happened to Tracking Protection?.
What do you mean by "not stable"? Some media sites have difficulty from time to time handling the volume of traffic, but then things are fine later. If the problem is intermittent, it may be hard to track down the cause.
