when will Firefox again remember passwords on a Mac

I used to be able to save passwords in Firefox, but now I cant, apparently only the Windows versions do this.When will the Mac version catch up?? Story

there are a couple of sites that Firefox wont save passwords to, but the issue seems to mainly solved, thanks very much! :-) Story

Make sure you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Always use Private Browsing mode; Never Remember History).

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy -> Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
  • remove checkmark: [ ] "Always use Private Browsing mode"
