Hi rickross,

Thank you for your question, I am happy to help. I will be using this article for reference: Quick fixes if your Firefox slows down

Please disable any unnecessary add ons to make sure that is not hindering the performance of you browser. I would also check if there is content loading that might not be wanted: Block Uneeded Content

And after those steps, if I was still scratching my head, I would clear the cache and try a new profile. It is possible to use the Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles

Did any of those steps speed it up?

I believe it was interacting with Trusteer. I uninstalled trusteer and then reinstalled it and that seemed to solve the problem
