everything to do with the launcher
At first, i've had firefox for about a year and now it has a crap ton of problems for me that i can't solve because nobody has the same problem the pages constantly went unresponsive so i decided to turn firefox off from the task manager and since then, it'll say "0xc0000022" with an error message every time i try to turn firefox on. I then uninstalled firefox and tried to install it again - "couldn't load xpcom" and people say that they can go on firefox but this happens etc etc, but i couldn't even start it up. I also needed firefox because for some reason, the other browsers don't load when i'm downloading them, so i would be forced to stare at a blank bar with the words "ur almost there 11!!! :d" or whatever, whilst firefox worked quickly. I just want to know how to solve this stuff so i can go back to my original lifestyle :>

I experienced that 'couldn't load xpcom' error on Windows, too, and I could solve it only by reinstalling Firefox.
Remove it with https://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/revo_uninstaller_portable and then re-install it from scratch.

i tried that, and it didn't work, so i downloaded the stub version. I took the mzglue file or whatever and put it in the stub so it doesn't have that issue. And now my issue is 0xc0000007b
You need to do a clean reinstall in case of an XPCOM error and make sure to remove the Firefox program folder.
An error message about XPCOM missing or about platform version usually happens because of a failed Firefox update that left you with a mixture of old and updated files in the Firefox program folder. This can happen in case security software was keeping a handle of some of the files in the Firefox program folder preventing Firefox from replacing all the files. You need to do a clean reinstall to ensure that all files are replaced. You may have to disable security software temporarily in case the problem persists.
You can find the full version of the current Firefox release (55.0) in all languages and all operating systems here:
i did a clean reinstall and the xpcom issue is still there, then it made me download the stub and the mozglue issue is on there.
