I've checked the copies and folder settings and they are set correctly for each email account. So I'm composing an email in one account, sending it using that email account address, but the email ends up after sending in the sent folder of another email account. Windows 10 Thunderbird version 52.2.1

Chosen solution

Open Tools/Account Settings, select the sending account in the left pane, then check Outgoing Server (SMTP) in the right pane. Does the selected smtp server correspond to the sending account or the other account?

I am prompted to add that it's wise to be cautious about the Tools/ Account Settings/Copies and Folders/ page: I have discovered wrong folder names inside those boxes so often I like to uncheck the checkboxes of every new account before saving it.
