Why doesn't Firefox automatically delete my browsing data any more?

It used to get cleared automatically. Now I get an annoying pop up where I have to manually clear the data every time after Firefox closes.

Yes the pop up looks like that but it it pops up after I have closed Firefox, every time.

That's what I thought   -   we have somebody else with the same problem. You haven't done a refresh lately, by any chance  ?

And I just noticed in your system details : Just like this other   OP,   you have the extension   'Click&Clean'   installed.

Would you do me a favor and disable it, and see if that makes a difference  ?
