Thanks for your help. I followed it up and it looks like the latest Windows update is clashing with Comodo which in turn was messing with Firefox. I've rolled back the Windows update for now and all is fine in the world of Firefox once more.

Thank you for providing that information - really useful.

I have had a look at it and I believe that you may have a Comodo anti-malware product installed on your device. I recommend that you update this software to resolve this issue.

if it does not resolve this issue, please can you supply further crash reports.
