I cannot "Install" or "Uninstall" Thunderbird update. SOLVED: delete Thunderbird program directory
When trying to open Thunderbird I get the following message: "Your computer must be restarted to complete a previous upgrade of Thunderbird." Naturally I have rebooted SEVERAL times and I am still getting the same message. I have also tried to uninstall Thunderbird but I get the same message. I have tried several of the suggestions on this support sight but am getting nowhere. As advised, I looked for "Application Experience" in my "services" tab to see if it was active. The service "Application Experience" does not exist in my "services" tab. I have a feeling that my Kaspersky software eliminated it. I had gotten a message from Kaspersky that activity tracking software had been detected and eliminated. Please help me get this fixed! I have important business emails that I need access to!

I have this problem on Mac OS 10.12.6. My profile is missing after transfer from windows 10 to above Mac OS. How do I completely uninstall everything so I can do a clean install?
