No idea where you got that URL from. Try https://java.com/en/download/

Christ1, I went to the site you provided, and it redirected me to the "Agree and start download" page, but when I clicked on the red button the same message appeared on the browser screen. (Access Denied, etc.) What else could it have been? Thanks in advance!

I forgot to mention: I have Win. Vista SP2, and that I tried installing JAVA using both Mozilla AND IE, without success. IE did not let me save the JAVA exe. file.

It's not just you. I tried to access the Windows version both Online and Offline and was greeted with the Access Denied message as well. Tried my OS (Linux x64) and same message.

You might need to post on Java's support forum or elsewhere since this isn't a Firefox issue.

Hi Moses and christ1! Thank you for responding. It's a nasty situation, it gets worse now that I can't get in contact with the JAVA people...

Could you please relay the message to them somehow for all of us as I'm not really software or social networks savvy, and could not get connected to the Customer Service or Administrators of Oracle? I would appreciate it, so will other users with the same issue. Thank you very much in advance!

Access Denied with the Reference number usually indicates that your request came from a network that is blocked for some reason, such as suspicious traffic. I get the same message tonight. This has to be fixed on Oracle's end by clearing the block.

By the way, I get a different file from the "manual" download page (although still blocked at the moment): https://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
