I have two Sync accounts on separate computers. I would like sometimes to switch from one Sync account to another on a third computer. Am I able to switch back and forth and how do I do it? Thank you!

Rather unusual request. Never tried that myself and I was once running 3 different Sync accounts to 'sync' data between 3 separate Profiles on 2 different PC's while testing Sync, in the early days of Sync.

Nothing built into Sync to do that, but I guess you could log out of one Sync account and then log into the 2nd account. But I would be concerned about how the Password Manager would handle that 'duality'.

What's the deal with the two separate Sync accounts? Separate accounts for "work" and "personal" use?

I trust that you realize that Sync is bi-directional data synchronization; what's on one device will be synchronized to the other devices that are connected to that Sync account. So that once the 3rd device is sync'd with account #1, the "user selected data" will end up on account #2 when you connect that device to the 2nd Sync account. IOW, when all devices are used after doing that, they would all have the same data regardless of which Sync account they are connected to, at least as far as what data types that you selected to "sync".

To just have that data available on the 3rd device, you could create an additional Profile which would keep the 2 Sync accounts separated data wise, but you would be able to access that data from different Profiles. Basically 2 separate Firefox installations, at least as far as the Sync data is concerned. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles

Thank you. Very good explanation of your concept of how it would work and the pitfalls therein.
