I have a number of people in my Contacts list for whom I don't have their year of birth, only the day and month. This has been captured in the Contacts records. These birthdays don't show up in the Upcoming events for the Calendar pane in Thunderbird; only birthdays with a known year is displayed. If I amend a contact's details by entering 2000 in the missing year field, it shows a reminder the appropriate date, but not in the upcoming events list. At one stage, this did work, but the birthday of recently added contacts does not show up. I am using MultiBirthdaysreminder to add more functions, I believe this is a basic Calendar function. In attached image 1, the date in Contacts is available, but it does not show in the recent events block in Calendar on the 1 April (picture 2). Thunderbird is version 38.7.0 and Lightning 4.0.7

It's a function of MultiBirthdaysreminder. You should contact the add-on author.
