Why is there a scroll bar on the top of my window?
It's on every tab I have open!
Chosen solution
Chances are one of these three extensions that you have installed are causing that scroll-bar to appear.
Avast Online Security 10.3.3.13 (wrc@avast.com) Avira Browser Safety 1.7.6.467 (abs@avira.com) Pin It button 1.37.9 (jid1-YcMV6ngYmQRA2w@jetpack)
Disable them them thru the Add-ons Manager to discover which one is the culprit.
Quite honestly, I question the wisdom of having both Avast and Avira installed together; ain't gonna add to your security, but might cause conflicts.

If you're curious... could you right-click that scroll bar and see whether Firefox displays the normal context menu for when you right-click in a document? If so, there should be an item "Inspect Element (Q)" which will open the Inspector tool in the lower part of the tab with whatever that scroll bar is for highlighted. Not sure whether that will provide clearer information about the culprit or just deepen the mystery...
We have seen reports that the Avira toolbar is causing this issue.
It was Avira add-on. THANK YOU everyone!!! So appreciated.
