An add-on rendered my firefox useless, and will not let me open in safe mode what do I do?
Mozilla ran fine for me up until I downloaded add-on. Since then I can't open at all and can't open in safe mode as well.

You can check in the the Windows Control Panel if you can find "NVIDIA Network Access Manager" or "NVIDIA ForceWare Network Access Manager" and uninstall this software.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.
See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.

No add-on should do that. What add-on and where did you get it?
Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes). If the problem goes away, that tells us one thing. If it does not, that tells us something else.
Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe web sites. Is the problem still there?
