When I select Options under the Tools menu in FF42, the page comes up but I can't make any selections- it's totally unresponsive. Prior versions had the box that worked. I don't care about whether Options are on a webpage tab or a box, I just need them to work. Hate to roll back to Firefox 40 to get it to work.

Hi Rondo123, your theme looks very different from mine. Some themes might not be compatible with this page. Which one are you using?

Yes, after some fooling around with themes, the Aeon one I had been using presented the problem with page compatibility. Switching to FF default got the compatible page where the controls worked. Still miss the box from previous versions. Thanks for the prompt reply.

You may want to report it to the theme author in case no one else has. Or you might see grumbling in the reviews by now...

Reported theme problem and contacted developer- we'll see. Trouble for me with FF default is that icons are too small and hard to read.

In scrolling through FF Themes page, most of them are now marked as incompatible with FF 42. Defeats the whole purpose of using FF.

You can look at this extension to adjust the font size in the user interface.

You can set a global Zoom that affects both the user interface and web pages (this modifies the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx pref). You can do this via the Options/Preferences of the extension (about:addons or the Tools menu).

You can look at the Default FullZoom Level or NoSquint extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.
