Firefox crashes

For more than a week Mozilla Firefox will not open I receive crash report when attempting. it will open and work in safe mode. I have tried to open with add-ons disabled.I have tried updating Firefox. I have removed Firefox and all associated folders and items. Could be a problem with hardware acceleration.

  • Firefox 41.0.2 Crash Report [@ RtlpAllocateHeap | CContext::RestorePipelineStateImpl<T> ]

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.

Thank you. I disabled hardware acceleration in Firefox and it is now working.
