Why does Google appear when I sign onto the internet instead of my Yahoo Homepage? I do not like the Google thing!

When I sign onto the internet, a Google webpage appears. I do not like it! I want my Yahoo Homepage to appear. How do I fix this problem? Google evidently came with something I downloaded, but I do not know what it was.
