How do I add more websites to new tab page ?
There seems no option available in Firefox "New Tab" , to show only user defined websites, neither do I see the number of websites to display. The only possible choice is an empty page or the "most used" webpages (as if we might consider this as being a preference "choice") Thank you

By default, Firefox sets up three rows of five "tiles", but depending your zoom level, you may see fewer of those.
This add-on can help you manage the page's settings, but if you prefer to tweak internal settings, I'll mention those, too:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful or accepting the risk.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste newt and pause while the list is filtered
(3) If the browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.enabled preference is bolded and "modified" or "user set" to true, double-click it to restore the default value of false
(4) To add more rows, double-click the browser.newtabpage.rows preference and enter the desired value (default is 3)
(5) To add more columns, double-click the browser.newtabpage.columns preference and enter the desired value (default is 5)
(6) If Firefox does not remember your preferred zoom level on the page between new tabs or new windows, double-click the browser.newtab.preload preference to switch the value from true to false

Am just going to send a google search result. On the page it has some Firefox fixes/instructions but it also has some Extensions you may be interested in.

By the way, you can replace the "tiles" that show sites from your history with tiles you choose yourself. See: Customize your Firefox New Tab page.
