Hello,

My issue is that the tabs are displaying incorrectly when I open a new tab on Firefox, in particular images from Tumblr URL's are displaying off center. Sometimes, when Firefox is displayed in a smaller window, a small amount of the text is removed from the left as opposed to from the right like normal. I've already tried to refresh and reinstall Firefox, to remove prefs.js, examining page sources and web searching for a few hours. Unfortunately, I seem to be out of options that I can reasonably understand.

The image has an example of both issues, with the strangely cutoff tab text highlighted in purple. I'm having a hard time uploading this image so I'm just gonna post and maybe I can add the image later?

Either way, thanks a bunch for your time!

Here's the image since it wouldn't attach initially.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Options/Preferences -> General: Performance
    remove checkmark: [ ] "Use recommended performance settings"
    "Use hardware acceleration when available"

You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.

If you have made changes to Advanced font size settings like increasing the minimum/default font size then try the Default font size setting "16" and the Minimum font size setting "none" in case the current setting is causing the problem.

  • Options/Preferences -> Content: Fonts & Colors -> Advanced -> Minimum Font Size (none)

Make sure you allow pages to choose their own fonts.

  • Options/Preferences -> Content: Fonts & Colors -> Advanced
    [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

It is better not to increase the minimum font size, but to use an extension to set the default page zoom to prevent issues with text not getting displayed properly.

Thanks for your quick response!

I followed all of those steps and the odd text cut off was resolved thankfully! The thumbnails are still off center however, even after updating both my windows updates and my graphics drivers. It's an odd occurrence and I just can't seem to figure out why the pictures won't be centered.
