Why have you deleted Pixlr Grabber - it's a vital SEO tool
I've had Pixlr Grabber installed under the tools tab for a long time. I use it regularly and extensively to take snapshots, particularly of Google Analytics graphs where I wish to bring trends to the notice of website clients in support of SEO recommendations. A recent Firefox update has deleted that and I cannot find it on your add-on list, nor does it appear that there is an equivalent available that lets me choose exactly what I want to copy from within any web page. Nor do your various help pages seem to address this issue. Why did you delete it? Will you reinstate it as an approved add-on? If not why not? Are you making a better tool available and if so what is it and when available? Your update has also deleted my SEO toolbar - again why? I'm obviously happy to accept Firefox updates, but not when they remove important functionality. Firefox is my default browser. Happy to amplify any of this if it helps you. Please advise, thank you. As far as your SEO toolbar. could it be that the one you are using hasn't been signed yet? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-on-signing-in-firefox
Here is s listing of the various "SEO toolbar" add-ons currently available from AMO Note: Mozilla doesn't "make" add-ons such as that, they are all created by a 3rd party developer. Mozilla merely hosts them.
You seem to have two Flash Plugins for Firefox.
Shockwave Flash 20.0 r0 Shockwave Flash 11.8 r800
Causes problems for some users. Get rid of the older version.
Greetings Thank you for that helpful, and very prompt reply; appreciated. Noted that it has been pulled. it was actually still live and working on my system in December last year but has now 'disappeared'! presumably after a Firefox update. Does Firefox have an add-on that can replace that functionality? Hope so! This is really important to me, and indeed to other SEO's no doubt. Searching for grabbers (which I didn't know how to do until your prompt) it looks as if Nimbus is the closest??
Old and duplicated Flash plugins; I wasn't aware so thank you. I found the management screen and indeed it showed both as you say. I tried to delete the earlier version but can't find how to do that, either on that screen or in control panel - so I set it as 'disabled' - how do I delete it?

Pixlr Grabber was probably disabled in Firefox 43 due it not being signed.
Maybe something was changed inside Firefox back in early 2014 that caused the original developer to "pull" that add-on from AMO. "Still working" and Mozilla continuing to "allow" certain code to continue being used isn't always the same thing. I have a few extensions that the original developer stopped updating for a new Firefox version; I fixed what 'got broke' or just ignored it and 'bumped' the extension to get it to install and work for the features I wanted. I tried to "share" one as an "updated" version at AMO, only to have it denied due to a "security" change that I couldn't understand. Hey, I'm not a programmer or software developer, I am a retired automotive technician / shop owner who has learned enough about Firefox extensions over the last 14years to "mix and match" code and get some semblance of usable results to "fix" simple extensions that I use, when they break or are abandoned.

Typed in the URL bar, about:plugins will show you the "path to" each plugin DLL file. Navigate to that location and delete the old Flash plugin DLL file.
Thank you for that. I'll experiment with the two options for Pixlr Grabber replacement that you mention. I've still got a problem with the Shockwave Flash add-ons. Both are still there, the 11.8 and the 20.0. I had set the old one to never and the new one to always but then some sites won't work, and I get them back if I set both to always active. But that presumably leaves me vulnerable as you say. How do I delete the old one? Thanks and regards Ray
