I have a private addy and a business address, both using the same mailbox. Both have been fine until about three months ago. Now I can receive incoming mail at my business addy, but I get an error message every time I try to use to send outgoing mail. It tells me I am not authorised to use that account, and to check my settings. I have reviewed every setting imaginable, and double checked passwords, server ID, and port numbers (what else is there?). This is costing me money, as I cannot use my business e-mail to commuinicate with clients anymore. I am about to dump T'bird and go back to *???*. Anyone know the solution?

Did you check with your email provider? I don't think this is a Thunderbird problem.
