Slanted web pages and blurred type

Good afternoon, I have been trying to figure out a reason to why my firefox web browser keeps jumbling into a slanted page and blurred type when I roll my mouse over anything. I have upgraded the software and reset it twice, turned off and on my computer multiple times. And every time I re-open firefox the slanting page begins. My initial thought was that our internet was down. But that seems not to be true. Then I thought I had a virus, but I work on a mac, so I don't know what else to do. Do you have any solutions I could try to use to fix this problem. I have a screen shot if you need a visual of the problem.

Let me know if you need any other information. Thank you and I hope you can help. :)

Hello CarAnOB, try to Turn off hardware acceleration, and check it again.

thank you

I have this same problem and turning off HW accel does nothing. when ever i bring a new window in front of firefox it fixes, but breaks as soon as the mouse scrolls over it again...any other suggestions?

Which Operating System are you using?

The original poster is using Mac OS X 10.6 and that version seems to have this issue.
Updating to 10.6.8 might fix it in this case.
