Is there a preference to inhibit the auto-start of sounds and movies?
Some sites with movies or music wait until you click on some start button to play the sound or the movie. Other sites start movies or music automatically when they are loaded. Is there a preference somewhere to inhibit a site from auto-starting sound or movies?

media.autoplay.enabled user set to False in your "about:config"
This one may have possibilities for the future if made to work more like BarTab used to

I'm a bit leery of trying the extension because I may have several tabs open with work in progress.
media.autoplay.enabled is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!
