Do you have an orange Firefox button with abbreviated menus?
To show the classic menu bar, tap the Alt key and choose
View > Toolbars > check Menu Bar
(If the menu bar doesn't appear when you tap the Alt key, you might be in full screen view. Press the F11 key to switch between full screen and normal modes.)
Use View > Toolbars to restore the other toolbars you're missing.
Can you see your bookmarks on the full Bookmarks menu, or in the Bookmarks Sidebar (Ctrl+b)?
Thanks but now I am stuck and cannot get to home page. I loved Mozilla before I upgraded not Imust try to go back to Internet Explorer and start over. Thanks anyway
I don't understand why you are stuck. No address bar??
If you want to try going back to version 3.6, here's the process to roll back:
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See Backing up your information. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, download and save Firefox 3.6 to your desktop for future installation. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older
Close Firefox 5 and run the Firefox 3.6 installer.
Firefox 3.6 should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details.
I got back to the earlier version THANK YOU SO MUCH. I willnever upgrade to 5.0 again. Only thing I cannot get back is the home page that is white and just says GOOGLE on it. I ahve columns and a scene of a beach on the top of the page. I would like to get my old google home page back. However for now I am happy again thank yuu. What other browser is there beside Internet explorer that is as good as firefox?

To make Google your start page, first go to http://www.google.com/ and display the page you want as your start page. Then check out the methods described in this article: How to set the home page | How to | Firefox Help.
There sure are a lot of browsers available these days, including Google's Chrome, Apple's Safari and Opera's Opera. I use Firefox 95% of the time, and IE for the rest, so I'll have to leave it to others to comment on those browsers.
