Can the Bookmarks icon be moved to a different part of the page in 4.0?

Why is the Bookmarks icon on the right side of the page in 4.0? It's in an awkward location. Can I move it to a different location?. I do not like where it is now in 4.0!

Are you aware that simply hitting the Alt key will temporarily show the Menu bar when it is hidden?

Why waste that whole toolbar area for menu items that aren't needed very often?

If you mean the Bookmarks menu icon that appears on the right hand side of the Bookmarks Toolbar if the menu bar is hidden, then you need drag the Bookmarks Menu button with the drop down marker from the toolbar palette in the customize window to the left of the Bookmarks Toolbar Items. You can only make that BM button appear on another toolbar if the Bookmarks Toolbar is hidden as well.

I'm not sure if this is what either of you were suggesting, but I just right-clicked on the bookmarks icon on the right side of the page, then selected, "Menu Bar" (so it had a check mark next to it), and my old, "File, Edit, View, etc. menu bar magically reappeared on top of my tabs. I am now a happy camper. Thank you for taking the time to respons.

P.S. why do SW programmers/designers insist lately on removing the File, Edit, View, etc. menu bars and replacing them with a "ribbon" or some other nonsense!?!? The menu bar is a tried and true GUI device that is convenient and easy to use. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Thanks, Edmeister! That's a great suggestion.
