when i click the star icon on the toolbar it does not add the site to my bookmarks,how can i solve this problem

If you revisit a site that you tried to bookmark, is the star yellow?

If the star is yellow, the site has been bookmarked. Clicking on the star once saves the bookmark in the "Unsorted bookmarks" folder which is not visible in the bookmarks menu, clicking on the star a second time allows you to edit the bookmark so you can move it to the folder of your choice.
