Bookmarks not converting

My bookmarks from an older Firefox version are in JSONLZ4 format and when I convert them to html for import to a current Firefox version it loses bookmarks. Firefox will not allow me to import the original JSONLZ4 file. How do I import my bookmarks?

Hi Gary, are you using my converter at https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ffu/bookbackreader.html?

If that looks good on screen, you can go ahead and apply the .jsonlz4 directly to Firefox through the "Restore" menu. This is a complete replacement, rather than adding a new "Imported Bookmarks" folder. If the file isn't listed on the Restore list, use "Choose file" to load the old backup and replace your entire current set of bookmarks.
