I am trying to set up a new Thunderbird email account using pop3.gotadsl.co.uk port 110 and smtp-auth.gotadsl.co.uk port 25 which are the settings I have been using for years on my old Livemail account. Thunderbird recognises these settings but warns me that pop3 and smtp-auth do not use encryption and as such could expose my password and private information, Can you please advise me what settings I can use. Try port 995 for incoming and 465 for outgoing.
