Hi, last week I established a firefox account. This morning on my iphone, I hit the button for remove all active logins but instead it removed all my saved passwords in Firefox. Major problem. I have a separate list of most of my passwords but I hadn't gotten around to writing down my new one for my firefox account user name inSt5hTBru8. So I wanted to establish a recovery key but I can't do that without knowing my password. Your site warns that I could lose all my bookmarks etc if i lose my password and have no recovery key. So you see the situation. I already made a backup copy of my firefox folder under my mac's application support folder. To me this shows how dangerous syncing accounts can be. I'm afraid to ask to re-set my password for fear of being locked out. [email removed from public]
