How do I overcome Mozilla VPN being detected by websites like Amazon Prime and BBC amongst others?

I am seeking a solution to overcoming the Mozilla VPN, being detected by websites and blocking my access to these sites, unless I turn off the Mozilla VPN, which defeats the point of paying for and using the Mozilla VPN.

These include the BBC, Amazon Prime and others in the UK, even if I set the location to a UK City.... #sniffles

This has always been my question about all VPN services, they advertise heavily everywhere, you pay this money, and then they don't work on any web sites.
