When I enter 2 AM as an event start time, it switches to 3AM when I try to save it.

Hmm daylight saving usually starts and ends at 2am. Is the day your setting a change over day?

You're absolutely right. I was trying to set myself a reminder. Does time come into this?

Set your reminder for 1.59 so it happens before the change over. As the clock hits 2 it automatically becomes 3. so if you want a reminder set it to before the change.

Thanks for the work-around. Wonder why it jumps though. Doesn't really matter, if our BC government comes through with their promise to abandon the time change, I'll never have to worry about it again.

Perhaps I need to move to BC, or Queensland.

It jumps because it knows that the summer time is ending, so entering it for 3am will see a message appear at 2am because there is technically no 2am on the end date, it goes from being 1:59 to 3am. When it stops being 1:59, what was 3am becomes 2 am.
