THUNDERBIRD WONT OPEN after update to 52.3.0 [win10]
ever since the update last week, im no longer able to open thunderbird email. i tried opening it while pressing the shift key (which is what the support says to do to open in safe mode)... nothing works. please help !

Safe mode is a good start.
What does "nothing works" mean - what are you seeing on the screen?
Whether I click click on the icon to open thunderbird or press the shift key while trying to open thunderbird, nothing happens. It doesn't open. Nothing happens on the screen. I don't see an error message, I don't see thunderbird trying to open. Nothing happens !
What happens if you right click on the shortcut icon and select 'Run as administrator' ?
Nope not even. I even right click and try previous version. Nothing opens !
