My grand daughter touched something on the keyboard and since then I have a problem with a mix of font sizes and display. If I type an email the type will begin tiny and then half way through a word will go huge. On webpages the display will also be a mixture of small and huge. Using the Ctrl and +/- changes the whole display so it still ends up half big and half small.

HI Rarbaba,

It sounds like the input font or the default font in the browser is displaying differently based on these preferences:

If you click on the link, the preferences menu will open up:

  1. Open [about:preferences#content]
  2. Under "Fonts and Colors" click the "Advanced" button on the right
  3. Make sure this is checked [x] Allow pages to choose their own fonts...

Also the font size where not specified in that same menu you can change the font size there.

The other preference could be in the operating system preferences. http://www.windowscentral.com/how-make-text-apps-bigger-windows-10
