Can I sync my bookmarks from a device where I used Firefox before signing up for sync?

I have been using Firefox for many years on my main laptop, but never knew about Sync. I recently bought a new, smaller laptop for school and discovered Sync while setting it up and installing Firefox. I signed up for Sync, and the bookmarks I created on my new laptop show up in the bookmarks menu of my main laptop, but not the other way around. Is there any way to transfer these older bookmarks and folders from my old laptop to my new one? Thanks for the help!

1) have you checked bookmarks option on sync in main laptop. 2) try sign out and sign in again on both devices. 3)You can try manually import bookmarks on new laptop. open Firefox on old laptop go to library (ctrl+J) go to all bookmarks. on top is "import and backup" dropdown list. choose "export bookmarks to html" proceed. move "bookmarks.html" (or otherwise named) file to new laptop. open Firefox on Newlaptop go to library (ctrl+J) go to all bookmarks. on top is "import and backup" dropdown list. choose "import bookmarks from html" choose that "bookmarks.html" (or otherwise named) file proceed. now you have bookmarks moved from one laptop to other. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/export-firefox-bookmarks-to-backup-or-transfer
