somehow, got many copeis of the same site in my bookmark forlder and can't erase them. Please advise.
I think because of some glinch in Firefox, I received hundereds of the same side web address in my bookmark folder. When I attempt to delete them one by one, FFOx goes into some form of staleness. What is the short cut for deleting from bookmark folder. I am not even sure if it is possible. Have set my life with FFox and don't want to go back to default if I can help it.

Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.
Type about:support in the address bar and press enter.
Under the page logo on the left side you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Folder. To it’s right press the button Show Folder. This will open your file browser to the current Firefox profile. Now Close Firefox.
Locate the file. Then rename or delete it. Restart Firefox.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.
