when no squint add on activated screen goes blank
I have used no squint for a couple of years with no problem. But the last time I activated it the firefox browser flashed on the screen and then disappeared leaving me with a blank screen. When I uninstalled no squint the screen returned. Thanks for any suggestions. Alnwick.

Have you considered an alternative? f.lux is a free program that changes the screen's color temperature based on the time of day. A plus with this program is that it changes the entire screen, not just the browser.
The page on the left is the build in Firefox home page. You will notice on the bottom are some tool shortcuts. Whatever search engine is your default is placed on the search bar in the middle of the page.
You can, if you want, change your home page and / or new tab page any time you want, to almost anything you want on the web.
Internet Explorer is my default search engine, but as far as I can ascertain I cannot change the page colors with IE. Firefox has so many great add-ons and so many people online to help with solving problems. Thanks.
Thanks for your suggestion. I checked it out, but I need to have a more precise control over the page colors.
