How do I reinstall?
I started the download of an application and cancelled the download, or so I thought. When I now start Firefox, the download starts again. Do I have to reinstall to eliminate this and shouuld I be saving anything before I do?

- Click the Downloads button on the navigation toolbar (it looks like a downward-pointing arrow).
- Right-click the cancelled download and choose Remove From History.
There's no point in reinstalling. That's an extreme measure for such a minor problem, and it wouldn't do any good anyway as your profile data is normally preserved, and that's where the problem lies. Resetting Firefox is what you'd do instead, but again I don't think that's necessary.

<Control> J (Mac: <Command> J) to open the download manager. Look for the file in question, right click and select Cancel.
