I get this message when I try to open email: JavaScript must be enabled in order for you to use gmail in standard view. However it seems javascript is either disabled or not supported by your browser. This is new. JavaScript is enabled.

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode?

Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."

Yes, the same thing happens in Safe Mode. I actually removed Mozilla Firefox from the computer and downloaded it again. The same message appears. For now, I have gone back to Internet Explorer.

Please, please help me. I would greatly prefer to use Firefox over IE, but won't as long as I can't use gmail in the standard view!
