Unable to send tbaytel server emails. Error "Unable to authenticate to Outgoing server (SMTP)"
For a few weeks now we have been unable to send emails through tbaytel server via Thunderbird. We get SMTP error. This happened after recent upgrades to Mozilla. Any idea when a fix will be out?

it may help to post full text of error message and a screenshot of your SMTP server settings pane. That may provide ideas to others here to suggest to you
Sending of the message failed. Unable to authenticate to Outgoing server (SMTP) . Please check the password and verify the 'Authentication method' in 'Account Settings | Outgoing server (SMTP)'.
Using the default port suggested byThunderbird as well. Have changed ports. When I called Tbaytel they said many folks having same issue. Even on my one computer with an older version I am having issues.
Just a guess: try changing authentication method. If you post screenshot of the SMTP server settings, someone may have suggestions. Good luck.
Have done all of that. Ports, authentication and all. Have been through all scenarios with same issue. Even reset password with same issue. Techs at Tbaytel said many reports of this issue among Tbaytel users.
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1608203 is a different error message?

Is there a link to a report? Are non-THunderbird users affected?
Not sure of what the issue is. I just know Thunderbird is still not sending emails and I am required to go to my server to do so.
