Out of nowhere I no longer have a send option on outgoing emails. The "send" button is missing.

It looks like the Composition Toolbar is hidden. To reveal it, click <View | Toolbars> and enable it.

You can always send a message, even without the button, from the menu option <File | Send Now> or by pressing <Ctrl+Enter>.
