Åbne vedhæftet tmp fil i mail
When I get an attachment as a reply in an email it is with tmp file name. It cannot be opened because Thumberfird does not have a file association program, Using libre office with here I cannot find a file association either. Hoping for some help. Thanks in advance. PS. Should the questions be asked in English?

The problem with a tmp suffix, is that neither Thunderbird nor Windows knows the appropriate program to use. I suggest asking the sender for that information.

It will help to know the suffix of the file when sent by the other person. It may also prove useful to ask the individual to send again (assuming the suffix is not tmp) and check how the message is received at your email provider's website, before the message is received by thunderbird. My concern for you is whether the attachment when sent had a specific suffix that was inappropriately changed during transmission, at receipt by your email provider, or by thunderbird.
