Unable to remove email account after following all steps.
First I have went through and followed all listed steps to remove an account. Second I am not an idiot. Third I am trying to remove the pop up for a password of an email account no longer monitored. I have removed it properly and cleared calendar settings. The is no user for this email account in my profiles It is a gmail account. I am unable to decipher the JSON file.
Al I want to do is remove this from happening.

What steps. YOu are asking someone to comment on what has gone wrong, yet you leave it to them to assume what you have done.

I hope not, but it is not really relevant. We are all on occasions prone to missing the obvious.

There are also address books that come into play for the last few years. Generally there is a mail account, a calendar and an address book for major account types like Google and Yahoo. You indicate yours is Gmail so I would expect an address book. Mine starts with Google a hyphen and then goes on with the email address as the book name.

I have used Thunderbird for close to 20 years and have looked at the content of a JSON file perhaps twice after someone said they edited it. I really do not expect anything useful to come from attempting to read JSON, unless you are intending to take up programming in JavaScript.
