When clicking on a search link in firefox for ios, it does not open a new tab, which it used to do. I prefer that, if I need to do more searches from the search query. It is an issue on both iPhone and iPad, but not on pc (Mac or Linux).

Solved! Just delete Firefox from the iPhone/iPad, restart both and re-install Firefox and it works again.
