While you wait for an answer from Ubuntu, I would recommend you run more than 1 version of Firefox and sync your data to prevent data loss issue in the future. see screenshots In case your computer, OS, or Firefox goes BOOM in the future, your data is on other devices. Sync will see the different versions as a different device.
