cannot sign in to firefox support for lack of forgotten username

Need to recover my username for my email at yahoo. How is that done? Been having trouble typing comments into Facebook and other sites for the last 2 weeks or longer. Yahoo driving directions presents the same problem-slow sticky browser that sometimes stops responding altogether. Typing comments here present no problem whatsoever. Please fix the slow stickiness on Facebook so I can enjoy it like I use to.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

You can post a request on the Contributors forum about your forgotten user name and add [ATTN ADMIN] to it to get the attention of a site Administrator.
