Why does my office desktop Firefox version update every 2 or 3 time I start my browser? I click on browser and a popup box tells me its updating. The updates are short, 15 to 30 seconds and then the browser opens and runs normally.

How often do you start the browser, every few hours or every few days.

You are now shown as using 154.0.1 which is the latest so maybe no more for a few days or a week or so.

If you go to menu Help › More Troubleshooting Info and find the button "Show Update History" there to click, it will open a log of past updates. That would tell if all were reasonable, or some might have been failing repeatedly or something similar.
