why did firefox delete most of my shortcuts on my old pc after i synced with my new laptop and how do i get them back. I am a senior of 71 yrs not a computer tech.this just screwed everything up for me!HELP!!

OK Firefox didn't delete them it does act on it's own :)
1. Where did you have these shortcuts, on the startup page ? To get them back you could add them via various means, like going to a site and adding it.
2. So what shortcuts did you loose?
3. You say you lost them on the 'old' pc, does that mean you still have them on the 'new' laptop ?
