Not the most elegant solution but it's the only one I know of:

- Select an event

- Copy it (Ctrl+C)

- Paste it into a text editor.

- Save with an .ICS extension.

I don't understand your comment. This forum is about Thunderbird for desktop operating systems. What does a phone have to do with it?

You can email or file transfer the ICS file anywhere you want.
